They say that “A Sunday well spent, brings a week of content” and a visit to our local garden centre where there was lots of festive displays and beautiful Christmas decorations really was the perfect way to spend a Sunday in December. Both Al and I loved looking at all of the sparkly things and even got to meet the lovely Gruffalo. A few elves may of been spotted amongst the Christmas trees as well. Sadly Santa was busy feeding his reindeer, but we did manage to pick up a few presents from his workshop – ok the garden centre.
Luckily Al insisted on paying a visit to the lovely coffee shop prior to looking around the place where I was able to enjoy some delicious warm scones with clotted cream and jam, which was then polished off with a lovely cup of hot Earl Grey.
As for the rest of our Sunday, we did a spot of Christmas shopping for my Westie Toby Bear, created a festive hamper for some loved ones, enjoyed a moreish Sunday Roast and we are now going to relax on the sofa, eat a tub of Quality Street and wait in anticipation to see who is going to be crowned King or Queen of the jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
How do you like to spend your Sunday?
Love Emma.
