Comparison is the thief of joy

What exactly do you think you will achieve by comparing yourself to those girls on Instagram with 10,000 followers or 1,000 views on their YouTube videos? Just because they holiday in exotic locations and happen to own the latest beauty must have does not mean they are happier than you? After all you are comparing your behind the scenes with their highlight reels.

So you can’t drive and haven’t landed your dream job yet or even used your 2:1 Degree. But just because you haven’t achieved what they all have doesn’t mean you can’t! Your journey is different and your on a path that no one else can join you on.

Stop depriving yourself of happiness just because you’re afraid that a happy ending doesn’t apply to you. Life is for living, go out there and grab it with both hands, jump in the deep end, jump of the edge and take a chance – you might actually launch yourself into something far more greater than any of your dreams.

I love this post, this was very creative. We need to remind ourselves that we are beautiful in our own individual ways, people don’t do that enough anymore. This was nice to read after seeing so many posts about makeup. Great website too!
